Daniel Theno
Daniel O. Theno (born May 8, 1947) was an American politician and educator. Born in Ashland, Wisconsin, Theno graduated with a BS from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1969. He spent his senior year teaching at the University of Rio Grade do Sol in Porto Alegre, Brazil, under a university fellowship. He taught agriculture. Theno won a special election to the Wisconsin State Senate in 1972 from the 25th District of northern Wisconsin, defeating Ernest J. Korpela Ernest J. Wisconsin Senate, District 25
The 25th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in northwest Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Price, and Washburn counties, and part of northern Sawyer County. The 25th Senate district is the largest Wisconsin Senate district by area; mostly rural, the largest population center is the city of Superior. The district also includes the Bad River and Lac du Flambeau Indian reservations, and most of the Chequamegon–Nicolet National Forest. Arthur Cirilli
Arthur A. Cirilli (December 28, 1914December 17, 1995) was an American lawyer, politician, and judge in Wisconsin. He was a judge in Douglas County for thirteen years, and was the first Chief Judge of the 10th Judicial Administrative District after its formation in the judicial reorganization of 1978. Earlier in his career, he served six years in the Wisconsin State Senate as a Republican. Biography Arthur Cirilli was born in Eveleth, Minnesota, and raised in Iron County, Wisconsin. He attended Hurley High School and Gogebic Junior College, in Ironwood, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1942, earning a Bachelor of Laws degree. Robert Jauch
Robert Jauch (born November 22, 1945) is a retired American Democratic politician. He served 28 years in the Wisconsin State Senate (1987–2015) and four years in the State Assembly (1983–1987). He retired in 2015, citing the increased partisanship in the Legislature. Ashland, Wisconsin
Ashland is a city in Ashland and Bayfield counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is the county seat of Ashland County. The city is a port on Lake Superior, near the head of Chequamegon Bay. The population was 7,908 at the 2020 census, all of whom resided in the Ashland County portion of the city. The unpopulated Bayfield County portion is in the city's southwest, bordered by the easternmost part of the Town of Eileen.
