Daniel Paulista
Daniel Pollo Baroni (born 5 May 1982), known as Daniel Paulista, is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player who played as a defensive midfielder. He is the current head coach of CRB. Playing career Daniel Paulista was born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, and started his career at hometown club Comercial. In 2003, he moved to Santos, being the immediate backup of Paulo Almeida as the club finished second in the league. In 2004, Daniel Paulista was deemed surplus to requirements by new head coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, and was released on 6 July of that year. He would play for Juventude, Sertãozinho and São Caetano in the following two years, only impressing with the latter. Eduardo Alexandre Baptista (born 30 March 1970), is a Brazilian professional football coach who was most recently in charge of Novorizontino. Career Born in Campinas, São Paulo, Baptista started playing for Juventus as a central defender. However, due to his lack of temper on the field, he was advised to leave football by his father, Nelsinho. The Copa do Brasil 2008 was the 20th staging of the Copa do Brasil, starting on February 13, 2008 and finishing on June 11, 2008. It was played by 64 teams, either qualified through their respected state championships (54) or by the CBF Rankings (10). Vanderlei Luxemburgo da Silva (born 10 May 1952) is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player. He is currently a free agent. A left wingback, Luxemburgo represented Flamengo, Internacional and Botafogo before retiring in 1980. He subsequently became a coach and led Palmeiras, Corinthians, Cruzeiro and Santos to Série A titles, winning the tournament five times, a record total. Paulo Almeida Santos (born 20 April 1981), known as Paulo Almeida, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. A defensive midfielder known for his leadership, he was the captain of the Santos team, dubbed ''Meninos da Vila'', that won the 2002 Brasileirão, their first since 1968. After representing Santos in their first Copa Libertadores Finals in forty years, Almeida had an unsuccessful spell at Benfica between 2004 and 2006.
