Daniel Dimitrov Panov (Bulgarian: Даниел Димитров Панов; born 4 October 1967) is a Bulgarian politician of GERB who has been the mayor of Veliko Tarnovo since 2011. Biography Panov was born on October 4, 1967 in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He graduated in Public Administration at the Veliko Tarnovo University and mechanical engineering Vasil Levski National Military University. He was part of the Bulgarian Army, as an assistant commander and platoon commander (1989 - 1999), company commander (1996 - 1999), commandant (1999 - 2002). Since 2002 he has been a manager of Tsarevgrad Tarnov EOOD. In 2009, he received the award of the State Tourism Agency for contribution in promoting cultural tourism. Veliko Tarnovo
Veliko Tarnovo ( bg, Велико Търново, Veliko Tărnovo, ; "Great Tarnovo") is a town in north central Bulgaria and the administrative centre of Veliko Tarnovo Province. Often referred as the "''City of the Tsars''", Veliko Tarnovo is located on the Yantra River and is famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, attracting many tourists with its unique architecture. GERB ( bg, ГЕРБ, translation=coat of arms, acronym for Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria) is a conservative, populist political party which was the ruling party of Bulgaria between 2009 and 2021. Rumen Georgiev Rashev (Bulgarian: Румен Георгиев Рашев; born 26 March 1955) is a Bulgarian politician of the Union of Democratic Forces (Bulgaria) who was the mayor of Veliko Tarnovo between 1999 and 2011. Bulgarian Land Forces
The Bulgarian Land Forces ( bg, Сухопътни войски на България, Sukhopŭtni voĭski na Bŭlgariya, lit=Ground Forces of Bulgaria) are the ground warfare branch of the Bulgarian Armed Forces. The Land Forces were established in 1878, when they were composed of anti-Ottoman militia (''opalchentsi'') and were the only branch of the Bulgarian military. Arbanasi (Veliko Tarnovo)
Arbanasi ( bg, Арбанаси ) is a village in Veliko Tarnovo Municipality, Veliko Tarnovo Province of central northern Bulgaria, set on a high plateau between the larger towns of Veliko Tarnovo (four kilometres away) and Gorna Oryahovitsa. It is known for the rich history and large number of historical monuments, such as 17th- and 18th-century churches and examples of Bulgarian National Revival architecture, which have turned it into a popular tourist destination.
