Daniel Larsson (footballer)
Daniel Alexander Larsson (born 25 January 1987) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a winger. Beginning his career with BK Häcken in 2002, he went on to play professionally in Spain, Denmark, Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus before retiring with Akropolis IF in 2021. A full international between 2010 and 2011, he won five caps for the Sweden national team. Club career BK Häcken Larsson started his professional career in 2002 with BK Häcken in the Superettan, the second tier of professional football in Sweden. His twelve goals during his final season with Häcken helped the club win promotion to the Allsvenskan. In 2009, he left Häcken for Malmö FF. Malmö He scored his first goal for Malmö FF on 19 April 2009 in the second home game of the season against Trelleborgs FF. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. In the 2022–23 season, nineteen clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted from, and relegated to the 1. Lig. Free Transfer (association Football)
In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. The player can then go on to sign for any club offering a contract to them. How it works The club acquiring the player does not have to pay any compensation for their release due to having nothing left to pay on their contract, hence, the term free transfer. Some individual leagues have restrictions to protect academies. For example, in the UK, players under 24 who are out of contract are only available on a free transfer if released by the club holding the players' licence. Ibrox Stadium
Ibrox Stadium is a football stadium on the south side of the River Clyde in the Ibrox area of Glasgow, Scotland. The home of Rangers Football Club, Ibrox is the third largest football stadium in Scotland, with an all-seated capacity of . Opened as Ibrox Park in 1899, it suffered a disaster in 1902 when a wooden terrace collapsed. Vast earthen terraces were built in its place, and a main stand, now a listed building, in 1928. A British record crowd of 118,567 gathered in January 1939 for a league match with Celtic. After the Ibrox disaster of 1971, the stadium was largely rebuilt. The 2011–12 UEFA Champions League was the 57th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 20th season in its current Champions League format. As part of a trial that started in the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League, two extra officials – one behind each goal – were used in all matches of the competition from the play-off round. The final was held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Chelsea's caretaker manager Roberto Di Matteo led the club to win their first Champions League title after beating Bayern Munich 4–3 on penalties in the final. Edward Ofere (born 28 March 1986) is a Nigerian Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker for FC Trelleborg in Division 3 (Swedish football)#Division 3 Södra Götaland, Division 3 Södra Götaland.
