Daniel Larsson (born February 7, 1986) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender, who played in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career Larsson was selected 92nd overall in the third round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. He was playing as a goaltender for the Djurgårdens IF in the Elitserien, starting in 2006. On May 15, 2008 the Wings signed Larsson to a two-year entry-level contract. He was playing on the Grand Rapids Griffins being backup to Jimmy Howard. In his first season, he tied the Griffins franchise record for consecutive shutouts at two. On May 19, 2010, Larsson signed with HV71 in the Swedish elite league Elitserien. On March 26, 2012, HV71 announced that it had parted ways with Larsson. Larsson then played with AIK between 2012 and 2014. Daniel Alexander Larsson (born 25 January 1987) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a winger. Beginning his career with BK Häcken in 2002, he went on to play professionally in Spain, Denmark, Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus before retiring with Akropolis IF in 2021. A full international between 2010 and 2011, he won five caps for the Sweden national team. Club career BK Häcken Larsson started his professional career in 2002 with BK Häcken in the Superettan, the second tier of professional football in Sweden. His twelve goals during his final season with Häcken helped the club win promotion to the Allsvenskan. In 2009, he left Häcken for Malmö FF. Daniel Larsson (born 9 June 1981) is a Swedish professional darts player. Career Larsson reached the semi final of the 2006 WDF Europe Cup, scoring wins over Tony O'Shea and Martin Phillips before losing to Niels de Ruiter. He then reached the final of the Sweden National Championship, losing to Alan Norris. On 4 December 2008 Larsson qualified for the 2009 BDO World Darts Championship, winning one of five spots. He defeated Steve Farmer in the earlier rounds and then beat Paul Gibbs and Stephen Bunting to qualify. He was drawn against O'Shea in the first round and lost 3–0. In 2018 Larsson competed on the PDC Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour, finishing in the top two to qualify for the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship. Daniel James Larson is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. Larson pitched in all or parts of seven seasons from and . Larson was drafted in the first round of the 1972 Major League Baseball Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, while at Alhambra High School (Alhambra, California) but never played in the majors for them. Instead, he was sent to the Houston Astros as part of a trade that brought pitcher Claude Osteen to the Cardinals. Larson made his major league debut with the Astros in 1976, and that was probably his best season. He went 5–8 in 1976, with a career-best 3.02 ERA. In , Larson spent most of the season in the majors, but his performance went down significantly, as he won just one game in eight decisions and his ERA nearly doubled to 5.81.
