Daniel Kenedy
Daniel Kenedy Pimentel Mateus dos Santos (born 18 February 1974), known as Kenedy, is a Portuguese retired footballer. A midfielder or defender, he played on the left side of the pitch. He appeared in 198 Primeira Liga matches over 11 seasons (13 goals), mainly in representation of Benfica and Estrela da Amadora. He also competed professionally in France, Spain, Cyprus and Greece. In 2015, Kenedy began working as a manager. Club career Kenedy was born in Bissau, Portuguese Guinea. During his extensive career, he represented in his country S.L. Benfica – making his Primeira Liga debut at only 19 – FC Porto, C.F. Estrela da Amadora, C.S. Marítimo, S.C. Braga (January to December 2004) and Académica de Coimbra. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. At the end of each season, the two top-finishing teams are promoted to the top-tier Primeira Liga and the two lowest-ranked teams are relegated to the third-tier league. Campeonato De Portugal (league)
The Campeonato de Portugal (Portuguese for 'Championship of Portugal') is the fourth level of the Portuguese football league system. Together with the third-tier Liga 3, it is organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The Campeonato de Portugal was introduced in 2013 as the new third-level championship, under the name Campeonato Nacional de Seniores (Seniors National Championship), replacing both the Segunda Divisão and Terceira Divisão (former third and fourth divisions, respectively). The 2014–15 Campeonato Nacional de Seniores was the second season of the third-tier football league in Portugal. It began on August 24, 2014 and finished on June 14, 2015. Overview The league was divided in eight series of 10 clubs placed geographically, with the exception of teams from Madeira Islands (divided through the first series) and from the Azores Islands (divided through the last series). After a First Stage in a home-and-away system, the first two best placed teams of each league played in two groups of 8 teams in a Second Stage with each league winner earning a promotion to the LigaPro, plus a two-round play-off winner between the two second placed teams.
