Daniel Goh (footballer)
Daniel Goh Ji Xiong (born 13 August 1999) is a Singaporean professional footballer who plays as a forward for Singapore Premier League club Albirex Niigata (S) and the Singapore national team. Club career Hougang United Daniel signed with Hougang United's prime league squad in 2018, and was later promoted to the first team, he made 3 appearances for the club in the 2018 Singapore Premier League. Balestier Khalsa Daniel then signed with Balestier Khalsa for the 2019 campaign and became a regular starter for the club. He made his debut on 9 March 2019, against his former club Hougang United. Albirex Niigata Singapore In 2020, Daniel then signed with Albirex Niigata Singapore to play in the 2020 Singapore Premier League season as one of the lightning fast players from his former club Balestier Khalsa. 2020 Singapore Premier League
The 2020 Singapore Premier League (also known as the AIA Singapore Premier League due to sponsorship reasons) was the 3rd season of the Singapore Premier League, the top-flight Singaporean professional league for association football clubs, since its rebranding in 2018. The champions of the 2020 Singapore Premier League qualified for the AFC Champions League group stage automatically. DPMM FC were the defending champions, but withdrew from the league prior to the season re-starting in October 2020. Singapore League Cup
The Singapore League Cup was an annual soccer competition in Singapore. It was launched in 2007, and was open to teams who play in the S.League. The 2007 competition was sponsored by SingTel, and officially titled the SingTel League Cup. Eight of the twelve S.League teams took part in the 2007 tournament, which was held before the start of the S.League season proper. In 2008, the competition's official sponsored name was the Avaya-J&J League Cup (with sponsorship coming from Avaya and Jebsen & Jessen Communications). All twelve S.League teams took part in the 2008 tournament. Unlike the 2007 event, the 2008 competition was held during the S.League season. Singapore Cup
The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost football cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. Chonburi Province FC from Thailand was the first foreign club reaching the final in 2006 (they lost 3–2 in the final to local club Tampines Rovers). In 2009, Bangkok Glass became the second foreign team to reach the final, losing against local club Geylang United, but they beat Tampines Rovers in 2010 to become the first foreign winners of the Singapore Cup. Ikhsan bin Fandi Ahmad (born 9 April 1999), more commonly known as Ikhsan Fandi or mononymously as Ikhsan, is a Singaporean professional footballer who plays as a striker for Thai League 1 club BG Pathum United and the Singapore national team. Ikhsan began his footballing career by going through the youth system at the National Football Academy (NFA), with subsequent stints and trials at various clubs before debuting as a professional at the age of 17 at local club Home United in 2016. Ikhsan would move to the Young Lions in 2017, before signing for Norwegian clubs Raufoss IL and FK Jerv respectively, netting a total of 16 goals in all competitions.
