Daniel Georgievski
Daniel Georgievski ( mk, Даниел Георгиевски; born 17 February 1988) is a professional footballer who plays as a full-back for Australian side Inter Lions. Born in Australia, he represents the North Macedonia national team. Daniel is an ambassador for the charity organization, Boots for Balkans, which is a group that collects new and used football boots and donates them to underprivileged areas throughout the Balkans. Club career Born in Blacktown, Australia, Georgievski spent his youth career at Australian side Marconi Stallions and Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb. UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifying
The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2012 was a series of parallel association football competitions held over 2010 and 2011 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2012, held in Poland and Ukraine. The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, with matches set to take place between August 2010 and November 2011. 2020–21 A-League
The 2020–21 A-League was the 44th season of national level soccer in Australia, and the 16th since the establishment of the A-League in 2004. The season was started on 28 December 2020 and concluded with the Grand Final on 27 June 2021. The start of the season was later than previous seasons as a result of both the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and New Zealand, and as part of a gradual shift to move the competition from summer to winter. Nathaniel Caleb Atkinson (born 13 June 1999) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian. Carl Robinson (born 13 October 1976) is a retired Welsh international footballer who played as a central midfielder. He is currently the assistant coach for Major League Soccer club D.C. United. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. The 2017 A-League Grand Final was the twelfth A-League Grand Final, and was played on 7 May 2017, at Sydney Football Stadium, Allianz Stadium in Sydney. The match was contested between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory FC, Melbourne Victory who finished the 2016–17 season first and second respectively. This was the third time the teams met in a final, previously playing each other in 2010 A-League Grand Final, 2010 and 2015 A-League Grand Final, 2015.
