Daniel Gavins
Daniel Thomas Gavins (born 20 March 1991) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. He won his first European Tour event at the 2021 ISPS Handa World Invitational. Professional career Gavins turned professional in 2012. He started his career playing on the PGA EuroPro Tour, winning once in 2013. He also finished 7th on the Order of Merit in 2015. He also played on the Challenge Tour. In August 2021, Gavins won the ISPS Handa World Invitational by shooting a final-round 65 to beat David Horsey by one shot. He started the final round seven shots behind the leader. In February 2023, Gavins won the Ras Al Khaimah Championship to claim his second European Tour victory. On the final hole, his ball found the water twice, but he managed to salvage a double-bogey by holing a 25-foot putt. 2023 European Tour
The 2023 European Tour, titled as the 2023 DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons, is the 52nd season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972. It is the second season of the tour under a title sponsorship agreement with DP World, that was announced in November 2021. In September 2022, the opening six events of the 2023 season were announced; they were all co-sanctioned events, four with the South Africa-based Sunshine Tour and two with the PGA Tour of Australasia, and were scheduled for late 2022. Dave Coupland
David Coupland (born 16 March 1986) is an English professional golfer. Amateur career In 2010, Coupland won the Tillman Trophy with a record setting score. In 2011, Coupland lost a playoff for the Australian Amateur Stroke Play Championship and represented England at the 2011 European Amateur Team Championship. The 2021 European Tour was the 50th season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972 and the 13th and final edition of the Race to Dubai. The Race to Dubai was won by Collin Morikawa, becoming the first American player to do so. Matti Schmid was named Rookie of the Year. The European Tour (currently known as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons), legally the PGA European Tour is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour (for players aged fifty or older) and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men’s professional golf in Europe.
