Daniel Ramirez Fernando (born Cesar Fernando Ramirez; May 12, 1962) is a Filipino actor and politician who is the 34th and incumbent Governor of Bulacan. Fernando formerly worked as an actor in film and television. Fernando is critically acclaimed for his performance in the 1985 controversial erotic thriller film ''Scorpio Nights'', directed by Peque Gallaga and produced by Lily Monteverde of Regal Films. Mistah is a 1994 Philippine action film directed by Ricardo "Bebong" Osorio. The film stars Robin Padilla, Roi Vinzon, BB Gandanghari, Rommel Padilla and Ana Roces. Macho Dancer is a 1988 Philippine film, directed by Lino Brocka. It explores the realities of a young, poor, rural gay man, who after being dumped by his American boyfriend, is forced to support himself and his family in Manila's seamy red-light district. Maurice Ruiz de Luzuriaga Gallaga (August 25, 1943 – May 7, 2020), better known as Peque Gallaga, was a multi-awarded Filipino people, Filipino film-maker.
