Dandelion was a rural intentional community near Enterprise, Ontario, active in the 1970s, and disbanded around 1990. It was a member of the Federation of Egalitarian Communities, meeting all requirements for full membership. Stone Mills is a lower-tier township north of Greater Napanee in Lennox and Addington County, Ontario, Canada. According to the 2016 census, the township has a population of 7,702. Federation Of Egalitarian Communities
The Federation of Egalitarian Communities (FEC) is a group of egalitarian communitiesO'Brien, EllenSome communes have survived -- and prospered -- beyond the '60s.''Knight Ridder/Tribune News Service.'' 23 Sept. 1996. which have joined together with the common purpose of creating a lifestyle based on equality, cooperation, and harmony with the Earth. A central principal of these communities is that in exchange for a members working quota (typically between 35 and 42 hours per week) the community pays for all aspects of their life style. Members do not typically get salaries; instead, they have small allowances (typically between $75 and $150 per month) with which they may buy luxury items. They live, work and socialize within the community but are free to leave whenever they would like. Devon Sproule (born 23 April 1982) is a folk and indie rock singer-songwriter and musician based in Charlottesville, Virginia. She shared the ASCAP Foundation Sammy Cahn Award for 2009 with Oren Lavie. She is married to fellow musician, and music producer, Paul Curreri. After birth of their daughter in 2016, Sproule returned to touring with the release of ''The Gold String'' in early 2017. Early life Born to hippie parents on a commune named Dandelion in Kingston, Ontario, Sproule claims citizenship of both Canada and the United States. Her parents were both musicians. Intentional Communities In Canada
Intentions are mental states in which the agent commits themselves to a course of action. Having the plan to visit the zoo tomorrow is an example of an intention. The action plan is the ''content'' of the intention while the commitment is the ''attitude'' towards this content.
