Dancing With The Stars (Australian Season 12)
The twelfth season of ''Dancing with the Stars'' premiered on 15 April 2012, at the 6:30pm time slot on Channel Seven. With previous co-host Sonia Kruger defecting to Channel Nine, former Spice Girls, Spice Girl and American Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 5), ''Dancing with the Stars'' season 5 runner up Mel B was hired as her replacement. Daniel MacPherson continues his role as main host of the show, along with judges Todd McKenney, Helen Richey (dancer), Helen Richey, and Joshua Horner. Background The cast for the season were revealed on 13 March 2012 via the Seven website, along with their professional partners, although four contestants were revealed in late February 2012. Johnny Ruffo
John Patrick Ruffo (born 8 March 1988) is an Australian singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and television presenter notable for being a finalist on the The X Factor (Australia season 3), third season of ''The X Factor (Australian TV series), The X Factor Australia'' in 2011. Jade Hatcher
Jade Hatcher (born 15 January 1990) is an Australian dancer. She competed as a professional dancer on multiple seasons of Australia's ''Dancing with the Stars'', winning in 2009. Aric Yegudkin is an Australian choreographer and professional dancer born on 14 November 1985. Yegudkin is best known as a professional dancer on the Dancing with the Stars (Australian TV series), Australian Dancing with the Stars. Early life Yegudkin started taking ballroom dance lessons at 8 years old after his parents noticed him dancing to Michael Jackson songs. Jessica Raffa (born circa 1984) is an Australian ballroom dancer known for appearing on Australia's ''Dancing with the Stars''. Australian Football League
