Melanie Hooper is an Australian ballroom and Latin dancer. She was a professional dancer on Australia's ''Dancing with the Stars''. She also toured with dance show ''Burn the Floor''. Early life Melanie Hooper was born in Townsville, Australia. Hooper began dancing at age 13. Career Hooper moved to Brisbane at age 21 to advance her dance career. She began competing in Sydney and Melbourne. Then, to further her career she moved to London, England. ''Dancing with the Stars'' is an Australian light entertainment reality show which originally aired on the Seven Network from 2004 to 2015 and on Network 10 from 2019 to 2020. When it was on the Seven Network, it was broadcast live from the HSV-7 studios (now Global Television studios) in Melbourne; on Network 10 it aired live from Disney Studios Australia in Sydney and Docklands Studios in Melbourne. Burn The Floor
Burn the Floor is a live dance show which has performed around the world, including on Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway in New York City and the West End of London, West End in London. Since 1997, Burn the Floor has performed in over 130 countries worldwide. The show has also featured several alumni of various international versions of ''Strictly Come Dancing'' and ''So You Think You Can Dance''. Origin On April 7, 1997, Elton John's 50th birthday party included a 10-minute performance from a group of ballroom dancers. The birthday party is credited with starting the idea for Burn the Floor. David Rodan
David Rodan (born 8 October 1983) is an Australian rules football goal umpire and a retired professional footballer who played for the Richmond Tigers, Port Adelaide Power and the Melbourne Demons. Of Tongan heritage, Rodan is the first Fijian-born player to reach 100 AFL games. He is currently an AFL goal umpire. Brendan Cole (born 23 April 1976) is a New Zealand ballroom dancer, specialising in Latin American dancing. He is most famous for appearing as a professional dancer on the BBC One show, '' Strictly Come Dancing''.
