''Dancing Europe'' is the compilation album by Ukrainian singer Verka Serduchka released in 2007 by Mamamusic and Universal Music. Overview In 2007 Verka Serduchka represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki with the song "Dancing Lasha Tumbai". The song took second place in the final, and on the wave of success Andriy Danylko decides to release this compilation in Europe. In that summer, Danylko signed two contracts with the French division of Universal and the German Warner. To promote the album in France, Verka Serduchka appeared on popular TV channels TF1 and M6. The album contains both old and new songs. Songs "Vse Bydet Horosho" and "Hop Hop" were taken from debut studio album ''Kha-ra-sho!'' Andriy Mykhailovych Danylko ( uk, Андрі́й Миха́йлович Дани́лко; born 2 October 1973), better known as his drag persona Verka Serduchka ( uk, Вє́рка Сердю́чка, links=no, ; russian: Ве́рка Сердю́чка, links=no), is a Ukrainian comedian, actor, and singer. He represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 as Verka, finishing in second place. He has sold over 600,000 records. He has appeared in films, most notably a cameo as Verka in the American comedy film ''Spy'' (2015). Early life Andriy Mykhailovych Danylko was born to a working-class family in Poltava on 2 October 1973. Verka ( Macedonian: ''Верка'') is a music band from Delčevo, Republic of Macedonia. They play authentic metal combined with elements of traditional Macedonian music that includes folk instruments such as folk drum, kettle drum, bagpipes, clarinet and bendir. The members of the band are Vlatko Nushev – Dalton (drums), Mars Marsovski (guitar), Mazdrak (bass guitar, vocals) and Hiko (folk drum, kettle drum).
