Dan Webb
Dan Webb (born 13 August 1989), is an Australian musician, entrepreneur, music journalist and critic. Career Early in his music career, Webb garnered much attention for his energetic and partly improvised live shows. One of Webb's most notable stage antics at the time involved him playing his keyboard behind his back, in a style similar to Jimi Hendrix. He has collaborated with a number of artists over the years, including Greg Saunier, Kylie Auldist, Bobby Flynn, actress Ashleigh Cummings and the horn sections of The Cat Empire and The Black Seeds. In 2011 he played five shows in a UK tour, played two sets at St Kilda Festival and supported Conway Savage. He headlined a tour of New Zealand in 2012 and performed at Newtown Festival in Wellington. Webb released demos of twelve original songs for free download, one a month, from his official website in 2013. These songs were later developed and released on his 2014 studio album ''Sandstorm''. The Cat Empire
The Cat Empire are an Australian jazz/funk band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 1999. For most of the band's duration, the core members were Felix Riebl (lead vocals, percussion), Harry James Angus (trumpet, vocals), Will Hull-Brown (drums), Jamshid "Jumps" Khadiwhala (turntables, percussion), Ollie McGill (keyboards, backing vocals) and Ryan Monro (bass, backing vocals). Monro retired from the band in March 2021, while Angus, Hull-Brown and Khadiwhala all left in April 2022. They are often supplemented by The Empire Horns, a brass duo composed of Ross Irwin (trumpet) and Kieran Conrau (trombone), among others. Conway Victor Savage (27 July 1960 – 2 September 2018) was an Australian rock musician. He was a member of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, providing piano, organ & backing vocals from 1990–2017. Savage released solo albums entitled ''Nothing Broken'' (2000) & ''Wrong Man's Hands'' (2004) as well as a compilation called ''Rare Songs & Performances 1989–2004''.
