Dan Schoen
Dan Schoen (born December 7, 1974) is an American politician and former member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represented District 54 in the southeastern Twin Cities metropolitan area. He is also a former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, where he represented District 54A. Early life, education, and career Schoen graduated from MACCRAY High School in 1993. He attended St. John's University in Collegeville and Minneapolis Community and Technical College, where he graduated from the paramedic program. He attended Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota, graduating with an A.A. in law enforcement. He is a police officer and paramedic. Katie Sieben
Katie Sieben (born March 23, 1977) is an American politician who served as a member of the Minnesota Senate from 2007 to 2017. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she represented the 54th, which included portions of Dakota and Washington counties. Ms. Sieben currently serves as a commissioner of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission, to which she was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton. Early life and education Sieben was born and raised in Newport, Minnesota. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College and a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. The 2014 Minnesota House of Representatives election was held in the U.S. state of Minnesota on November 4, 2014, to elect members to the House of Representatives of the 89th Minnesota Legislature. A primary election was held in several districts on August 12, 2014.
