Daniel J. Kerschen (born August 2, 1952) is a Republican Party (United States), Republican member of the Kansas State Senate, representing the Kansas's 26th Senate district, 26th district since 2013. It has been represented by Republican Party (United States), Republican Dan Kerschen since 2013, following his primary defeat of fellow Republican Dick Kelsey (politician), Dick Kelsey. The Kansas Senate is the upper house of the Kansas Legislature, the state legislature of the U.S. State of Kansas. It is composed of 40 senators elected from single-member districts, each with a population of at least 60,000 inhabitants. Members of the Senate are elected to a four-year term.
