Dan Coe
Daniel Coe (8 September 1941 – 19 October 1981) was a Romanian football defender. He was part of the Romanian team that reached quarterfinals at the 1964 Summer Olympics, and later participated at the 1970 World Cup. Club career Originating from an ethnic Aromanian family, Dan Coe, nicknamed ''Ministrul Apărării'' ("The Minister of Defence"), was born on 8 September 1941 in Bucharest and started playing football in 1956 at the junior squads of Rapid București, making his Divizia A debut on 18 March 1962 in a 1–1 against Minerul Lupeni. He remained with Rapid for ten seasons, being for a while the team's captain, winning the league title in the 1966–67 season when coach Valentin Stănescu used him in 26 matches. In the following season he played four games in the 1967–68 European Cup, helping ''The Railwaymen'' eliminate Trakia Plovdiv and advance to the following round where they were eliminated by Juventus. Valentin Stănescu
Valentin Stănescu (20 November 1922 – 4 April 1994) was a Romanian football goalkeeper and manager. Club career Valentin Stănescu also known as "Tinel" or "Zimbrul" ( The bison) was born on 20 November 1922 in București, Romania and started playing junior level football at age 11 in 1933 at local club Olimpia. In 1942 he went to play for Malaxa Tohan for a short while, afterwards moving at Sportul Studențesc București for three years. He made his Divizia A debut playing for Carmen București under coach Petre Steinbach on 16 March 1947 in a 3–2 away victory against Dermagarand Târgu Mureș. Eusébio da Silva Ferreira (; 25 January 1942 – 5 January 2014), nicknamed the "Black Panther", the "Black Pearl" or "O Rei" ("The King"), was a Portuguese footballer who played as a striker. He is considered one of the greatest players of all time as well as Benfica's best player ever. He was known for his speed, technique, athleticism and his ferocious right-footed shot, making him a prolific goalscorer, in which he scored 733 goals in 745 matches. U Craiova 1948 Club Sportiv, commonly known as Universitatea Craiova (), CS U Craiova, or simply U Craiova, is a Romanian professional football team based in Craiova, Dolj County, which competes in the Liga I, the top tier of the Romanian league system. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. The Balkans Cup was an international football competition for clubs from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, and Yugoslavia. It was introduced in 1961 and was very popular in the 1960s (the 1967 final attracted 42,000 spectators), being the second most important international club competition for clubs from the region (after the European Champions' Cup in which the champions could play; the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup originally attracted few teams from the region as many did not organise domestic cups regularly and only Yugoslavia had significant representation in the Fairs Cup).
