Damiano Pecile
Damiano Daniele Pecile (born April 11, 2002) is a Canadian professional soccer player. Early life Born in Vancouver, he grew up in Burnaby, British Columbia. He began playing youth soccer at age five with Cliff Avenue United. He later played with the Burnaby Selects and Mountain United FC, and was also a part of the British Columbia provincial program. In 2013, he had a training stint with the Italian club Cremonese's youth teams. In 2014, he had a two month trial with the AC Milan Academy and was invited to remain with the academy, but his family was not ready to make the move to Italy permanently. In August 2015, he joined the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy. In May 2021, he was loaned to Italian club Venezia FC's youth teams through June 2022, which included a purchase option. The 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup was the 18th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth association football, football championship contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It was hosted by Brazil between 26 October and 17 November 2019. The 2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship was the 6th edition of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship (19th edition if all eras included), the men's under-17 international football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It was hosted in the United States between 1 May and 16 May 2019. The top four teams qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil as CONCACAF representatives. The 2023 Finnish Cup was the 69th season of the Finnish Cup football competition. The winners qualified for the 2024–25 Conference League second qualifying round. Ilves won the cup on 30 September 2023 with a 2–1 win over Honka, their fourth Finnish Cup win. Calendar Format The cup was played as a one legged knockout tournament. Myllykosken Pallo -47 (or MYPA, formerly MyPa) is a Finnish football club, based in the industrial village of Myllykoski, part of the city of Kouvola. The club temporarily shut down after having ceased operations in 2015 due to financial difficulties, but returned in 2017 earning a place in the fourth tier and won back-to-back promotions to reach the second division in 2019. History MyPa was founded in December 1947 in the village of Myllykoski in the then municipality of Sippola, which in 1975 became part of the town of Anjalankoski and since 2009 is part of Kouvola.
