Dambaru Sisa
Dambaru Sisa (Odia: ଡମ୍ବରୁ ସୀସା) is an Indian politician, social worker and first Bonda Member of Chitrakonda. Early life and education Sisa is born to a Bonda family on 28 March 1980 at the village Khuriguda, Malkangiri district, Odisha. Sisa earned his Bachelor of Science with Mathematics Honours from DAV College, Koraput. Later he did post graduation studies in Math (MSc. Math) and Law (LLM). Biju Janata Dal
The Biju Janata Dal (; BJD) is a regional political party in the Indian state of Odisha founded and led by Naveen Patnaik, the current Chief Minister of Odisha and the son of former Chief Minister of Odisha Biju Patnaik, after whom the party is named. It was founded on 26 December 1997. Electoral record The BJD won nine seats in the 1998 general election and Naveen was named Minister for Mines. In the 1999 general elections, the BJD won 10 seats. Bonda People
The Bonda (also known as the Bondo, Bondo Poraja, Bhonda, or Remo) are a Munda ethnic group approximately 12,000 (2011 census) who live in the isolated hill regions of the Malkangiri district of southwestern Odisha, India, near the junction of the three states of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh. Malkangiri district is the southwesternmost district in the Indian state of Odisha. It has two Vidhan sabha constituencies. History Local legend claims Valmiki wrote the Ramayana on the banks of the Tamasa river. The region was known as ''Malyavantagiri'' in the Ramayana, and it was believed ''Sitakunda'' was the bathing-place of Sita, near Mudulipada. Koraput is a town and a Municipality in Koraput district in the Indian state of Odisha. Koraput town is the district headquarter of Koraput district. History The district of Koraput derives its name from its headquarters the present town of Koraput. In ancient times when the Nalas were ruling over this tract, Pushkari near modern Umarkot was the capital city. In the medieval period Nandapur developed as a little kingdom under the Silavamsi kings that was later expanded by the Suryavanshi kings who arrived in the region in 13th century from Kashmir.
