Dalin, Chiayi
Dalin Township () is an urban township in Chiayi County, Taiwan. To the east is Meishan, to the south Minxiong and to the north Yunlin County. Dalin TzuChi General Hospital (大林慈濟醫院) is located here. History The township was formerly down as Dapulin since the Qing empire rule. The first name who came to this area was a Cantonese person. Afterwards, many Chinese immigrated to the area from Guangdong, China and Fujian, China. Most of them worked in the forest. During the Japanese rule, the government set up a sugar factory in the area. Demographics It has a population of 29,937 in 11,505 households. Administrative divisions The township comprises 21 villages: Damei, Datang, Goubei, Guoxi, Hubei, Jilin, Minghe, Minghua, Neilin, Pailu, Pinglin, Sancun, Sanhe, Sanjiao, Shanglin, Tunglin, Xijie, Xilin, Yihe, Zhongkeng and Zhonglin. The Edmonton Eskimos season was the 54th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 63rd overall. The Eskimos improved upon their 7–11 record from 2010, after winning their eighth game on October 10, 2011, while also securing a berth in the playoffs in that same game. The Eskimos finished in 2nd place in the West Division with an 11–7 record and hosted a playoff game for the first time since 2004, ending the CFL's longest active drought. The Eskimos defeated their Alberta rivals, the Calgary Stampeders, 33–19 in the West Semi-Final, but lost to the BC Lions 40–23 in the West Final. Liu Dalin, also sometimes Dalin Liu or Ta-lin Liu, (, 2 June 1932 – 17 December 2022) was a Chinese professor of sociology at Shanghai University who pioneered the field of sexology. Liu was born on 2 June 1932. From 1989 to 1990, he helped conduct a nationwide survey on sexual behavior and attitudes in China, not unlike the Kinsey Report in the United States.
