Håkan Dahlby
Håkan Dahlby (born 15 September 1965) is a Swedish double trap shooter, the winner of the 2003, 2004, and 2012 European Championships. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics after having the best final round of all finalists and moving from fifth to second place. In the 2004 Olympics he finished second in the qualification round, but dropped to fifth place during the final round. Since then, he has won the 2005 ISSF World Cup Final, the 2008 ISSF World Cup Final, and ISSF World Cup competitions in 2007 and 2008, but failed to reach the final at the 2008 Olympics. Sir William Bartlett Dalby (1840 - 1918) was a British aural surgeon and otologist, who was knighted in 1886. Dalby was Consulting Aural Surgeon to St George's Hospital. Robert Dalby
Robert Dalby (died 1589) was an English Catholic priest and martyr. Life Robert Dalby (sometimes called Drury), came from Hemingbrough in the West Riding of Yorkshire (now North Yorkshire) lived at first as a Protestant minister. Becoming a Catholic, he entered the English College at Reims, Rheims on 30 September 1586 to study for the priesthood. He was ordained a priest at Châlons-en-Champagne, Châlons on 16 April 1588. It was on 25 August that year that he set out for England. He was arrested almost immediately upon landing at Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast and imprisoned in York Castle. Given the 1585 Act making it a capital offence to be a Catholic priest in England the terrible sentence of hanging, drawing and quartering was inevitable. Nicolas Dalby (born November 16, 1984) is a Danish mixed martial artist who is currently fighting in the Welterweight division of Ultimate Fighting Championship. John Martin Dalby (25 April 1942 – 25 October 2018) was a Scottish composer and music administrator. He was Head of Music at BBC Scotland from 1972 to 1991. Matthew John Dalby FRSE is Professor of Cell Engineering at the University of Glasgow. His research is focused on mesenchymal stem cell interactions with nanotopography, with particular focus on the use of metabolomics, to study mechanotransduction. John Leonard Burkitt Dalby (April 22, 1929 – July 13, 2017) was an English singer, pianist and composer. Dalby was hailed in London and New York City for his witty and sophisticated cabaret performances. As an accomplished entertainer, he was described by one New York Theatre critic as a combination of "Noël Coward, Flanders and Swann with a touch of Quentin Crisp". He wrote and performed in numerous musicals and revues.
