Daira Mir Momin
Daira Mir Momin, (Urdu: , also called Daira-i-Mir Momin), is a Muslim cemetery located in the Old City of Hyderabad. History It was established during the Qutb Shahi period in the 16th century around the grave of Mir Momin Astarabadi, who was the minister of the Golconda Sultanate and the planner of Hyderabad. It is said that he ordered camel-loads of soil to be brought from Karbala and sprinkled across the graveyard. The graveyard is in poor condition and is encroached by several illegal constructions. Old City (Hyderabad, India)
The Old City of Hyderabad is a walled city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, located on the banks of the Musi River built by Qutb Shahi sultan Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah in 1591 AD. There used to be Wall of Hyderabad, a wall surrounding the Old City, most of which is destroyed. Mubariz Khan, the Mughal governor of Deccan Subah, had fortified the city in 1712 and was completed by Nizam of Hyderabad. At the center of Old City is the Charminar, and region contains major neighborhoods of the city including Shah Ali Banda, Yakutpura, Dabirpura, Afzal Gunj, Moghalpura, Malakpet and Falaknuma. Prince Moazzam Jah
Moazzam Jah, Walashan Shahzada Nawab Mir Sir Shuja’at ‘Ali Khan Siddiqui Bahadur, KCIE (21 December 1907 – 15 September 1987), was the son of the last Nizam of Hyderabad, Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII and his first wife Dulhan Pasha Begum. He first married Princess Niloufer (4 January 1916 – 12 June 1989), one of the last princesses of the Ottoman empire. He later had two other wives, Anwari Begum Saheba and Razia Begum Saheba. In 1947, he was granted the personal style of ''Highness'' by the King-Emperor George VI. He was a poetry enthusiast who had close ties with the poet Najm Afandi after the latter moved from Agra to Hyderabad State. The Prince also wrote poetry under the pen name ''Shahji''. Nawab Abul Quasim Owaisi, Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III (1889–1949), commonly known as Salar Jung III, was a nobleman and art collector from Hyderabad Deccan (Hyderabad State). He served as Prime Minister of Hyderabad Deccan during the reign of the seventh Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan. Mir Laiq Ali Khan, Salar Jung II (died 7 July 1889) was a former Prime Minister of Hyderabad State (1884–1887). He belonged to the noble Salar Jung family. He is also known for authoring the Persian-language travelogue ''Vaqayeʿ-e Mosaferat''. Early life Mir Laiq Ali Khan was the son of Mir Turab Ali Khan, Salar Jung I. Sir Mir Turab Ali Khan, Salar Jung I, (21 January 1829 – 8 February 1883), known simply as Salar Jung I, was an Indian nobleman who served as Prime Minister of Hyderabad State between 1853 until his death in 1883. He also served as regent for the sixth Nizam, Asaf Jah VI between 1869 and 1883.
