Dagfinn Aarskog
Dagfinn Aarskog (10 December 1928 – 27 May 2014) was a Norwegian physician. Life He was born in Ålesund, Norway. He received his MD at the University of Bergen in 1956, and received a PhD in medicine in 1965. Aarskog was a specialist in pediatrics (paediatrics) from 1964 and in medical genetics from 1974. In the period 1964 to 1965, he worked as a research assistant at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was appointed professor of pediatrics at the University of Bergen. In 1970, he first described the condition that has later been called the Aarskog–Scott syndrome. Aarskog held several international positions of trust, and was in 1992 appointed a Knight of the Order of St. Olav. Dagfinn Høybråten
Dagfinn Høybråten (born 2 December 1957) is a Norwegian politician. He was the leader of the Christian Democratic Party 2004–2011. He was also Parliamentary leader from 2005 when he was elected as Member of Parliament representing Rogaland. He was Vice President of the Norwegian Parliament from 2011 to 2013. He was President of the Nordic Council in 2007. Høybråten was granted leave from his duty as Member of Parliament from March 2013 to take up the position as Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers. He was elected board member of the GAVI Alliance in 2006 and chair of the board from 2011 to 2015. In 2018 it was announced that Mr Høybråten will lead the "Truth and Reconciliation committee" regarding the discrimination of the indigenous Sami people in Norway up and until 1980. Dagfinn Sundsbø (born 11 December 1946) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Lindås as a son of farmers. He is the brother of politician Svein Sundsbø. He worked in the Norwegian Agrarian Association from 1980 to 2001 and was the general secretary of the Centre Party from 2001 to 2005. He has also been involved in Nei til EU. In local politics, Sundsbø was a member of Fet municipal council from 1987 to 1991, and of Akershus county council from 1991 to 2005. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Akershus during the terms 1993–1997, 1997–2001, 2001–2005 and 2005–2009. Dagfinn Koch (born 24 July 1964, in Kristiansund, Norway) is a musician. He studied at the State Academy of music (Norges musikkhøgskole) (Lasse Thoresen, composition; Olav Anton Thommessen, orchestration; Bjørn Kruse, arranging; Mads Claesson, Arild Erikstad og Tore Simonsen, music technology; Otto Berg, viola), and at Hochschule (now Universität) der Künste Berlin ( Witold Szalonek, composition). Dagfinn Ellif Kjeholt (24 February 1912 – 17 September 2005) was a Norwegian naval officer. He was born in Horten to Andreas Marentius Kristiansen and Marie Larsen.
