Dagfinn Vårvik
Dagfinn Vårvik (8 June 1924 – 25 March 2018) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Leinstrand. From August to September 1963 he was Minister of Finance during the short-lived centre-right cabinet Lyng. He was later Minister of Wages and Prices from 1965 to 1971 during the cabinet Borten, and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1972 to 1973 during the cabinet Korvald. He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Akershus during the term 1961–1965. The Minister of Foreign Affairs ( nb, Utenriksministeren, nn, Utanriksministeren) is a councilor of state and chief of the Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Lyng Cabinet governed Norway between 28 August 1963 and 25 September 1963. It was the first in 28 years not to be led by the Norwegian Labour Party. It was a centre-right coalition government of the Conservative Party, Centre Party, Christian Democratic Party and Liberal Party led by John Lyng of the Conservative Party. Idar Olav Norstrand (born 14 February 1915 in Bergen, died 8 September 1986) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. He worked as a mail carrier from 1934 to 1941, and later as personnel director in Norway Post from 1957 to 1982. From 1941 to 1945, during the German occupation of Norway, he fled to Stockholm, Sweden and worked at the Norwegian legation there. From 1946 to 1951 he chaired the post workers' trade union Norsk Postforbund. Akershus () is a traditional region and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo.
