"Dag efter dag" (; "Day after day") is a song in Swedish, with melody by Lasse Holm and text by Monica Forsberg. The pop and country group Chips (Kikki Danielsson and Elisabeth Andreassen) won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1982 with it. Chips, as representatives, finished eighth in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982. On April 18, 1982, the song reached the first place at Svensktoppen, where it stayed for nine rounds. On June 13, 1982, the song was the last to be number one at Svensktoppen, before the program was removed the first time. Chips also recorded the song with lyrics in English, "Day after Day". Elisabeth Andreassen
Elisabeth Gunilla Andreassen (; born 28 March 1958), also known as just Bettan, is a Norwegian-Swedish singer who has finished both first and second in the Eurovision Song Contest. Career Her talent was discovered in 1979 by Swedish musician and TV host Lasse Holm. She was produced by Bert Karlsson's label Mariann Grammofon AB. In 1980, she joined Lasse's group Chips. Chips participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 with the song "Dag efter dag" ("''Day After Day''"), and reached 8th place. Andreassen is active in many musical genres such as country, schlager, and musicals. She is mostly famous from Eurovision Song Contest 1985 when she and Hanne Krogh participated as Bobbysocks with the song "La det swinge", and won. "Främling" (; "Stranger"), written by Lasse Holm and Monica Forsberg and arranged by , was the song performed by the 16-year-old Swedish singer Carola Häggkvist which won the Melodifestivalen 1983. At the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 in Munich, in the former West Germany, the song finished third. Björn Nils Olof Skifs (; born 20 April 1947) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, actor, and screenwriter. Career Björn Skifs formed his first musical group, Slam Creepers, in 1962. Slam Creepers split in 1969 and Skifs went on to form a new band, Blåblus (a farmer's or workman's shirt (blus, blouse) made from blue (blå, blue) fabric - a pun (blues)) in 1972. As the lead singer of Blue Swede (another pun - blue + suede), the band had a No. 1 hit on ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in 1974 with a cover of Mark James's "Hooked on a Feeling". Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Fairytale" written and performed by Alexander Rybak. NRK organised the national final ''Melodi Grand Prix 2009'' in order to select the Norwegian entry for the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. "Fairytale" performed by Alexander Rybak was selected as the winner with the clearest victory in ''Melodi Grand Prix'' to date following a five-week-long competition consisting of three semi-finals, a Last Chance round and the final. Norway was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 14 May 2009. Performing during the show in position 6, "Fairytale" was announced among the top 10 entries of the second semi-final and therefore qualified to compete in the final on 16 May. Ingmar Nordströms was a dansband from Växjö, Sweden that was established in 1955 by Ingmar Nordström. Their first appearance occurred in the Eringsboda folkpark. Zdenka Vučković ( June 20 Zagreb, 1942 - 7 March 2020) was a Croatian popular music singer with over 60 years of career. Her popularity peaked during 1960s, when she was a teenagers' pop star.
