Dafydd Fell
Dafydd J. Fell (born 14 May 1970) is a British political scientist who has written extensively on politics of Taiwan. He is a professor in comparative politics and the director of the Center of Taiwan Studies (CTS) at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Fell is the convenor of the MA Taiwan Studies programme of the SOAS. Under his direction, this school's Taiwan-related courses, conferences and publications on Taiwan increased. He is the book series editor for the Routledge Research on Taiwan Series and an editor of ''International Journal of Taiwan Studies.'' Biography In 1992, Fell graduated from the University of Leeds with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Studies. Taiwan Journal Of Democracy
The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (TFD; ) is a non-profit organisation headquartered in Taipei. Originally initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China, the foundation's purpose is to promote democracy around the world. The Foundation was established in June 2003 as a non-partisan, non-profit organization. The foundation was one of the largest donors to the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, donating US$1 million towards the construction of the Victims of Communism Memorial in Washington, DC. Chinese Name
Chinese names or Chinese personal names are names used by individuals from Greater China and other parts of the Chinese-speaking world throughout East and Southeast Asia (ESEA). In addition, many names used in Japan, Korea and Vietnam are often ancient adaptations of Chinese characters (from Kanji, Hancha, and Chữ Hán respectively) in respect to the influences they have garnered geographically or have historical roots in Chinese, due to China's historic cultural influence in ESEA.
