Daesung
Kang Dae-sung (Hangul: 강대성; born April 26, 1989), better known mononymously as Daesung and his Japanese stage name D-Lite, is a South Korean singer, actor and television personality who made his musical debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang under the record label YG Entertainment. He debuted as a solo artist in South Korea with the number one trot song "Look at Me, Gwisoon" in 2008. Since the inception of the Gaon Digital Chart in 2010, Daesung achieved two Top 10 songs, the digital single "Cotton Candy" and "Wings" from the Big Bang album ''Alive'' (2012). In 2013, he released his first solo album in Japan, ''D'scover'', under the label YGEX and embarked on his first Japanese tour. ''D'scover'' is the debut Japanese studio album by South Korean artist, Daesung, also known by his Japanese stage name, D-Lite, member and main vocalist of boy band Big Bang. The album consists of a number of rearrangements and remakes of Japanese songs as well as multiple original pieces and was released on February 27, 2013. Background Following the success of Big Bang's fifth mini-album, ''Alive'', and their world tour, the members decided to pursue solo activities. During this time, the leader of Big Bang, G-Dragon released his first mini-album and plans were made for another solo album by vocalist, Taeyang. D'slove Tour
D'slove Tour is the second Japanese tour by South Korean singer Daesung, member of Big Bang. It was attended by over 170,000 people, making it the highest attendance in a Japanese national tour held by a Korean soloist at the time. This tour also made Daesung the first Korean soloist to gather over 100,000 fans in Japan for two consecutive years. D'scover Tour is the debut concert tour and first Japanese tour by South Korean singer Daesung, member of Big Bang. The tour was directed by Daesung himself. It was originally planned as an concert series in Kobe and Tokyo, but after high demand for tickets, a national tour was announced. ''Family Outing'' (; also known as ''Family Outing Season 1'') was a South Korean comedy-variety show; part of SBS's ''Good Sunday'' lineup, along with ''Gold Miss is Coming'' (골드미스가 간다).
