Daegu National Museum
Daegu National Museum is a national museum located in Hwanggeum-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, South Korea. It opened on December 7, 1994, and holds approximately 30,000 artifacts. Its main collection consists of archaeological objects from Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do region. The museum was built as a cultural facility to research, preserve, exhibit and educate visitors on the cultural heritage of Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. On July 19, 2010, the Ancient Culture Hall, the Medieval Culture Hall, and the Textiles and Clothing Hall were opened to the public. Suseong-gu
Suseong District (Suseong-gu) is a ''gu'' (district) in southeastern Daegu, South Korea. It is one of the most prosperous and high-density areas of Daegu, and is the site of the city's most extensive hagwon district. The population of this district consists of those who have careers such as doctors, professors, judges and other high valued careers in Korea. Because of this, it is known for expensive housing and schools compared to other districts in Daegu. Suseong-gu shares its eastern border with Gyeongsan city, and looks across the Sincheon stream at Nam-gu and Jung-gu towards the city center. Daegu
Daegu (, , literally 'large hill', 대구광역시), formerly spelled Taegu and officially known as the Daegu Metropolitan City, is a city in South Korea. It is the third-largest urban agglomeration in South Korea after Seoul and Busan; it is the third-largest official metropolitan area in the nation with over 2.5 million residents; and the second-largest city after Busan in the Yeongnam region in southeastern Korean Peninsula. Gyeongsangbuk-do
North Gyeongsang Province ( ko, 경상북도, translit=Gyeongsangbuk-do, ) is a province in eastern South Korea. The province was formed in 1896 from the northern half of the former Gyeongsang province, and remained a province of Korea until the country's division in 1945, then became part of South Korea. Daegu was the capital of North Gyeongsang Province between 1896 and 1981, but has not been a part of the province since 1981. In 2016, the provincial capital moved from Daegu to Andong. Empas (hangul: 엠파스) was one of the popular total internet search tools and web portal sites in South Korea.
