Dadı
''Dadı'' is a Turkish remake of ''The Nanny'', one of the most successful sitcoms in the United States of the 1990s. The program is set in the wealthy neighborhood of Nişantaşı, Istanbul. It was broadcast to countries outside Turkey. Plot Melek Özbal ran Fine(Gülben Ergen), fresh out of her job as a bridal consultant in her boyfriend's shop is working as a door-to-door cosmetics saleswoman when she stumbles onto the opportunity to become the nanny to the children of a wealthy media tycoon, Ömer Giritli axwell Sheffield(Kenan Işık). Once Melek realizes Giritli is not only wealthy but also a widower, she eagerly takes the job. Gülben Ergen
Gülben Ergen (; born 25 August 1972) is a Turkish singer and actress. Ergen started her career as an actress, and later decided to enter the music industry. She started her music career as a headliner. In 2001, for her role as Melek in the comedy series ''Dadı'' which adaptation of "The Nanny", she won the award for Best Actress at the Golden Butterfly Awards. In 2002, the lead single from her album ''Sade ve Sadece'' was awarded the Best Composition of the Year at the Turkey Music Awards.
