Dacia
Dacia (, ; ) was the land inhabited by the Dacians, its core in Transylvania, stretching to the Danube in the south, the Black Sea in the east, and the Tisza in the west. The Carpathian Mountains were located in the middle of Dacia. It thus roughly corresponds to the present-day countries of Romania, as well as parts of Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Ukraine. A Dacian Kingdom of variable size existed between 82 BC until the Roman conquest in AD 106, reaching its height under Burebista, King Burebista. As a result of the Trajan's Dacian Wars, two wars with Emperor Trajan, the population was dispersed and the central city, Sarmizegetusa Regia, was destroyed by the Romans, but was rebuilt by the latter to serve as the capital of the Roman Dacia, Roman province of Dacia. Dacia Logan Cup
The Dacia Logan Cup is a One-Design, One-make racing lowcost series created and managed by Renault Sport. It uses Dacia Logan cars and takes place in Germany, France, Romania and Russia. The purpose of the series is to make motorsports accessible with an as low as possible operating cost. Fotbal Club Dacia Chișinău, commonly known as Dacia Chișinău or simply Dacia, was a Moldovan football club based in Chișinău, which last played in the village of Speia, Anenii Noi. They participated in the Divizia Națională, the top division in Moldovan football. The club's name came from Dacia, an ancient civilization which covered parts of modern Moldova. Established in 1999, it entered the Moldovan "A" Division in 2000 and was promoted to the first division two years later. ''Dacia: An Outline of the Early Civilization of the Carpatho-Danubian Countries'' is a history book by the Romanian historian and archaeologist Vasile Pârvan (1882 – 1927). The book, published post-mortem in 1928, resulted from a series of lectures that Pârvan gave at Cambridge University. The Dacia Solenza was a subcompact/supermini liftback automobile produced by Romanian auto manufacturer Dacia. It was the last model on Dacia's own platform, but was one of the first models to benefit from Dacia's takeover by the French company Renault.
