Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil (born 22 October 1935) was an Indian politician who was Governor of Bihar, state in eastern India from 29 May 2012 to 26 November 2014. Shivaji University, established in 1962, is a state university located at Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. The university, with a campus spread over , is named after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire.
