DUB Magazine
''DUB'', founded in January 2000, is a North American magazine covering urban custom car culture and also features celebrities and their vehicles. The magazine also launched the DUB Magazine Custom Auto Show & Concert, a nationwide car show and concert tour that spans 16 United States cities. DUB now has many licensed goods that include Jada Toys' DUB City die-cast and radio controlled vehicles, DUB Edition car accessories, and Rockstar Games' '' Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition'' video game. The term "DUB" is street slang for custom wheels 20" or larger in diameter and was popularized through hip hop music. DUB was founded by Myles Kovacs, Haythem Haddad, and Herman Flores, who continue to head the company located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Santa Fe Springs (''Santa Fe'', Spanish for "Holy Faith") is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is one of the Gateway Cities of southeast Los Angeles County. City of Industry is a city in the San Gabriel Valley, in eastern Los Angeles County, California, United States. Myles Kovacs
Myles Kovacs is an American entrepreneur and cofounder of automotive magazine '' DUB'', founded in 2000. He is of Japanese and Hungarian origin and spent his younger years in East Los Angeles. Kovacs graduated from nearby Schurr High School in Montebello, California. After ''DUB'' magazine, Kovacs has branched out in the urban car scene market with a design for custom wheels that seem to spin when a car is stopped and die-cast toy cars that are sold at Wal-Mart, Toys "R" Us and other chain stores. MTV uses him to produce its ''MTV Cribs'' show when it features celebrities' cars. He started with about $10,000 — put together with two partners — and practical experience learned from high school jobs that included delivering customized cars to Los Angeles-area celebrities and writing a newsletter about hip-hop clubs around the nation. Rockstar Games
Rockstar Games, Inc. is an American video game publisher based in New York City.
