DMC World DJ Championships
DMC World DJ Championships is an annual DJ competition hosted by Disco Mix Club (DMC) which began in 1985. Championships were sponsored internationally by Technics (brand), Technics, but in 2010 Technics has been replaced by Serato and Rane Corporation, Rane. From 2011, the vinyl emulation software Serato Scratch Live can be used during the competition in addition to traditional vinyl. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, COVID-19 pandemic the DMC World DJ Championship are being held exclusively online. Disco Mix Club
Disco Mix Club is primarily a remix label under (British Phonographic Industry) licence, which is not intended for the mass market but rather exclusively for professional DJs and enthusiasts. The Disco Mix Club sells megamixes and remixes every month produced by other disc jockeys, and publishes the weekly magazine, ''Update''. The monthly ''Mixmag'' (the UK dance music bible for many years) was initially published by the Disco Mix Club, but it was bought in January 1997 by the British media group EMAP, and is currently owned by Wasted Talent Ltd after being published by Development Hell for a number of years in the late 2000s. Roc Raida
Anthony Williams (May 17, 1972 – September 19, 2009), better known as Roc Raida or Grandmaster Roc Raida, was an American DJ, turntablist and producer. He was also a member of the DJ group the X-Ecutioners. He joined the X-Men in the late 1980s, but due to copyright reasons, the group later became known as the X-Ecutioners. The group released three studio albums, 1997's ''X-Pressions'', 2002's ''Built from Scratch'' and 2004's ''Revolutions''. In the 1990s he and MF Grimm were an emcee/DJ team, and his DJ contributions can be heard on MF Grimm's Scars & Memories compilation. In addition to his work with MF Grimm and the X-Ecutioners, Roc Raida released albums as a solo artist, his most famous being 2005's ''Rock Phenomenon'', a mash-up album he released with DJ Vlad that blended rock and hip hop, which won the Mash-Up Mixtape of the Year at the Justo Mixtape Awards. DJ Static (Danish DJ)
Thorbjørn Schwarz better known by his stage name DJ Static or just Static is a famous Danish DJ and producer and event organizer. He is co-founder, in partnership with Rasmus Lauridsen, of City Hall Music,a Danish record label. In 2012, he released his debut album ''Rolig under pres'' that reached the top of the Danish Albums Chart in its initial week of release. Soulshock
Carsten Schack (born 1968 in Gug, Denmark) and better known by his stage name Soulshock is a Danish record producer and songwriter. Beginnings Carsten Schack was born in the Aalborg suburb of Gug, the son of economics professor Bent Schack and physician assistant Åse Schack. In the early 1990s he dated choreographer Toniah Pedersen for 3 years. Since 1993 he had been living in Los Angeles in the USA with his girlfriend Charmayne Maxwell, former vocalist of American R&B group Brownstone, with whom he has a son, Nicholas. His music career began as a DJ, when in 1989 he came joint third place in the DMC European Mixing Championships. This gave him a DJ job at Queen Latifah's European tour, and later a remix job for the artist.

Rumble & Strong
Rumble & Strong was a Canadian hip hop band from Toronto, active in the late 1980s. They were one of the first Canadian hip hop acts to be signed to a record label, when they signed to Gee Street Records in 1987, although they released only one EP, 1989's ''Crazy Jam'', before breaking up. David (MC Rumble) Morgan and Jason (DJ Jam on Strong) Armstrong had been members of the early rap crew T.O. Vice, before forming Rumble & Strong and competing in various battle rap and DJ competitions. They recorded two songs, "What Other Emcees Sound Like" and "Strong Will Survive" for Beat Factory's 1987 ''Break'n Out'' compilation, before signing to Gee Street and releasing ''Crazy Jam''. DJ Switch is a British DJ and turntablist, based in Birmingham. Notable for having made remarkable achievements in his early teens, he has been crowned world champion three times, and has many appearances on television, radio, magazines, and at major festivals. DJ Craze
DJ Craze (born Arist Delgado; November 19, 1977), is a Nicaraguan American DJ and record producer who plays hip hop, Miami bass, trap, breaks, dubstep, drum and bass, and practices turntablism. He was, until 2020, the only solo DJ in history to win the DMC World DJ Championships trophy three times consecutively (1998–2000). Biography DJ Craze was born in Managua, Nicaragua.
