D7 motorway ( cs, Dálnice D7), formerly Expressway R7 ( cs, rychlostní silnice R7) is a highway northwest from Prague to Chomutov and the German border. As of 2020 the motorway is long. Highway
A highway is any public or private road or other public way on land. It is used for major roads, but also includes other public roads and public tracks. Buštěhrad
Buštěhrad () is a town in Kladno District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,700 inhabitants. Etymology The settlement was originally named Buščeves, which was derived from ''Buškova ves'' (i.e. "Bušek's village"). After the village became a town, the name was changed to Buckow and the local castle was called Buštěhrad (meaning "Bušek's castle"). In the 19th century, the name of the castle was transferred to the town. Geography Buštěhrad is located about northwest of Prague. It lies in a flat agricultural landscape of the Prague Plateau. The Buštěhradský Stream springs in the municipal territory, flows through the town, and supplies two small ponds in the town centre. History The first written mention of Buštěhrad is from 1209. D0 Motorway (Czech Republic)
D0 motorway ( cs, Dálnice D0), formerly R1 expressway ( cs, Rychlostní silnice R1), or Prague Ring Road ( cs, Pražský okruh), also called the outer ring road, is a motorway in the Czech Republic. It is an outer ring of Prague and its first segment was opened in the 1980s. There is also an inner Prague Municipal Ring Road, which is still under construction as well. 40 km, from the planned length 80 km, are in operation. Two disjunct sections are opened to the public, one going all the way from the Ruzyně Airport to the interchange with the D1 highway, the other one being a road on the eastern border of Prague. A section connecting these two segments is to be built next. Other segments under preparation include a controversial bridge over the Vltava river near Suchdol, with locals proposing the road to be built in a less inhabited location to the north.
