D50 (film)
''D50'' is the working title for an upcoming Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Dhanush, who also stars. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures and marks the second directorial of Dhanush after '' Pa Paandi'' (2017). The film also stars an ensemble cast including S. J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Nithya Menen and Kalidas Jayaram. The film was officially announced in January 2023 under the tentative title ''D50,'' as it is Dhanush's 50th film as the lead actor. Principal photography commenced in July 2023 in Chennai and wrapped by mid-December 2023. The music is composed by A. R. Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja (born 28 July 1983), known professionally as Dhanush, is an Indian actor, producer, director, lyricist and playback singer who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. Selvaraghavan is an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor who has directed and acted predominantly Tamil cinema, Tamil films. ''Maryan'' (pronounced ''Mariyāņ''; ) is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Bharat Bala, and produced by Venu Ravichandran, under the banner Aascar Films, starring Dhanush and Parvathy Thiruvothu. Raghavendra Raja Rao, known by his stage name Sean Roldan is an Indian musician who has worked on Carnatic music, independent music, and film scores for the Tamil film industry.
