D. G. Chichester
Daniel G. Chichester (born August 22, 1964) is an American comic book writer. His credits include ''Daredevil'' and '' Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.'' for Marvel Comics. Career D. G. Chichester was born in Connecticut, and studied filmmaking at New York University. In his junior year, after running through cash reserves on his narrative student film, he took a job as assistant to the assistant of editor in chief Jim Shooter. This led to an editorial job at the Marvel Comics imprint Epic Comics following his graduation. Working as an assistant editor from 1985 to 1986, he was promoted to editor in 1987. Chichester worked in that capacity at Epic until 1989. He left Marvel's staff that year to pursue freelance writing and editing full-time. Beginning in 1987, Chichester added to his editorial role and began writing comics for Marvel — and, after leaving staff, for other publishers. Connecticut
Connecticut () is the southernmost state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south. Its capital is Hartford and its most populous city is Bridgeport. Barbara "Bobbie" Chase (born August 21) is an editor and writer in the comic book industry. She worked for Marvel Comics throughout the 1980s and 1990s. In 1994–1995, she was one of Marvel Group's Editors-in-Chief, the highest level a female editor has ever achieved at the company. She was Vice President of Talent Development at DC Comics from 2015 to 2020. As an editor, she has helped launched the careers of such creators as Salvador Larroca and Jamal Igle, and worked closely with writer Peter David on his acclaimed run on ''The Incredible Hulk''. The Blood Syndicate is a fictional multicultural vigilante gang of superhumans created by Milestone Media, Milestone Comics and published by DC Comics. The team first appeared in ''Blood Syndicate'' #1 (April 1993), and was created by Dwayne McDuffie, Ivan Velez Jr. and Denys Cowan. ''Dark Horse Presents'' was a comic book published by American company Dark Horse Comics from 1986. Their first published series, it was their flagship title until its September 2000 cancellation. The second incarnation was published on MySpace, running from July 2007 until August 2010. A third incarnation began in April 2011, released in print form once again. Valiant Comics is an American comic books, comic book publisher. The company was founded in 1989 by former Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Jim Shooter along with lawyer and businessman Steven Massarsky. In 1994, the company was sold to Acclaim Entertainment. The company was restarted as part of Valiant Entertainment by entrepreneurs Dinesh Shamdasani and Jason Kothari in 2005 after Acclaim declared bankruptcy in 2004.
