C³
''C³'', also known as or ''Cube×Cursed×Curious'', is a Japanese light novel series written by Hazuki Minase, and illustrated by Sasorigatame. C³ is about a high school student named Haruaki Yachi, who receives a mysterious black cube from his father who is overseas. That night, Haruaki is woken by a noise and is surprised to find a girl named Fear Kubrick in his kitchen eating rice crackers. Haruaki confirms that she is the cube, but knows nothing about her past other than that she has a curse on her which she wants broken. Breaking the curse though proves hard as there are organizations that seek to capture or destroy Fear, along with her dark past as a "Cursed Tool" which comes to light. Haruaki vows to protect her though, and is joined along by other allies/friends as the series progresses. Silver Link
is a Japanese animation studio. It was founded by ex-Frontline animation producer Hayato Kaneko in December 2007 and is based in Tokyo. History After the company's establishment in 2007, Shin Oonuma, who was previously a director alongside Shaft directors Akiyuki Shinbo and Tatsuya Oishi, joined the studio. A majority of Silver Link's productions have involved Oonuma as a director or co-director since his joining of the studio. is a Japanese anime television network owned by AT-X, Inc. was founded on June 26, 2000 as a subsidiary of TV Tokyo Medianet, which is (in turn) owned by TV Tokyo. is a publishing imprint affiliated with the Japanese publishing company ASCII Media Works (formerly MediaWorks). It was established in June 1993 with the publication of '' Hyōryū Densetsu Crystania'' volume one, and is a light novel imprint aimed at a male audience. Shin Oonuma
is a Japanese anime director, animator, and storyboard artist. Oonuma's first employer in the anime industry was Office AO, but he is best known for his contributions to studios Shaft and Silver Link. Career Oonuma's first appearance in anime was as an in-between animator for '' Berserk)'' as a sub-contracting employee of Office AO. He continued working with Office AO, and in 2003 made his debut as an episode director on ''Nurse Me!'' and '' Triangle Hearts ~Sweet Songs Forever~'' under the series direction of Akiyuki Shinbo. The following year, he was invited alongside Tatsuya Oishi by Shinbo to join Shaft, and the three became known as Team Shinbo.
