Cynthia Lizeth Duque Garza (born September 18, 1992) is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who won Nuestra Belleza México 2012 and represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2013. Duque was crowned Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2012 at the grand finale of the 19th annual Nuestra Belleza Mexico which was held at the Mesoamerican Poliforum Convention Center in the capital of Chiapas on Saturday, September 1, 2012. The 19th annual Nuestra Belleza Mexico pageant was held at the Poliforum del Centro de Convenciones of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico on September 1, 2012. Thirty-five contestants of Mexico competed for the national title, which was won by Cynthia Duque from Nuevo León who later competed in Miss Universe 2013 in Russia. Duque was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karina González. She is the fourth Neoleonesa to win this title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Marilyn Chagoya from Veracruz who later competed in Miss World 2013 in Indonesia. Miss Universe 2013 was the 62nd Miss Universe pageant, held at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow, Russia on November 9, 2013. Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994. Currently, the pageant is responsible for selecting the country’s delegates to Miss Universe, Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Charm International, and Nuestra Latinoamericana Universal.
