The Sleeman Centre (also known as Sleeman Sports Complex) is a sporting and entertainment facility located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Construction of the centre was completed in 1982. Ashlee Ankudinoff (born 20 August 1990) is an Australian professional Cycle sport, racing cyclist. Biography Ankudinoff was born in Sydney, New South Wales. She began competitive cycling at the age of fifteen on the road. Ankudinoff was a member of the gold medal-winning team pursuit squad, and also took the victory in the individual pursuit at the UCI Junior Track World Championships in 2008. Hayley Louise Jones (born 26 September 1995) is a Welsh racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Women's Team . From Port Talbot, Jones was a member of the record breaking, gold medal winning, British team pursuit squad at the Juniors world championships in 2013. Early career Hayley Jones is the daughter of Phil and Louise Jones, the sprint gold medalist for Wales at the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Jones was part of British Cycling's Olympic Development Programme for 2012/2013. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning British team pursuit squad at the Junior world championships in 2012. Emily Kay (born 7 September 1995) is a track and former road cyclist. After several years representing Great Britain and England at international competitions, Kay transferred allegiance in late 2019, and began representing Ireland on the UCI World Cup Track cycling circuit. She currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . Junior career Kay partook in the 2009 School games and won the individual pursuit and finished second in the Keirin. Emily Nelson (born 10 November 1996) is a former English professional racing cyclist. Her sister, Josie, is also a cyclist and joined Trinity Racing for the 2021 season. Career On 8 August 2013, at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow, Nelson competed at the UCI Juniors Track World Championships. She was part of Britain's Team Pursuit squad which also included Hayley Jones, Amy Hill and Emily Kay. In the qualifying heat, they broke the ''senior'' world record which had only been set a few weeks previously at the European Track Championships, setting a new time of 4:38.708. Bryony Botha
Bryony Botha (born 4 November 1997) is a New Zealand road and track cyclist. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Women's team pursuit. Career Botha was raised in Auckland, New Zealand and attended Rangitoto College. In 2015, Botha was part of the team pursuit that won the event, and broke the world team pursuit record, at the Junior Track World Championship. In 2017 Botha represented New Zealand at the Oceania Track Cycling Championships where she won the team pursuit and scratch race. Ciara Maurizia Horne (born 17 September 1989) is a British racing cyclist. Having formerly represented Ireland at an international level, Horne has switched nationality and currently rides on the track for the Welsh Cycling backed Team USN, and also races on the road for the Breast Cancer Care racing team. Horne formed part of the Great Britain team who became 2014 European champions in the team pursuit.
