Culi (possibly from Aymara for stripes of different colors on the shirt or undershirt which the Andean people wear) is a mountain in the Vilcanota mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Cusco Region, Canchis Province, Checacupe District, and in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Corani District. Corani (from Aymara language, Aymara Qurani, meaning "the one with herbs") is one of ten Districts of Peru, districts of the Carabaya Province in Peru. A mountain is an elevated portion of the Earth's crust, generally with steep sides that show significant exposed bedrock. Urubamba River
The Urubamba River or Vilcamayo River (possibly from Quechua ''Willkamayu'', for "sacred river") is a river in Peru. Upstream it is called Vilcanota River (possibly from Aymara ''Willkanuta'', for "house of the sun"). Within the La Convención Province the naming changes to Urubamba. A partially navigable headwater of the Amazon River, it rises in the Andes to the southeast of Cuzco. It originates on the slopes of Khunurana in the Puno Region, Melgar Province, near the La Raya pass. Carabaya Province is a Provinces of Peru, province of the Puno Region located in the southern part of Peru. Puno Region
