Cuatro Caminos is an administrative neighborhood () of Madrid belonging to the district of Tetuán. It has an area of . As of 1 February 2020, it has a population of 35,395. It was created as slum of the north of the city, on the east side of the Road of France, currently the calle de Bravo Murillo. The ward's boundaries are marked by the Calle de Raimundo Fernández Villaverde to the south, the Calle de San Germán (formerly General Yagüe) to the north (separating it from Castillejos); the in the southeast corner, the Calle de Bravo Murillo to the west and the Paseo de la Castellana to the East. Many of the streets located in the neighborhood are named after Spanish provinces, including ''Guipúzcoa'', ''Cuenca'', ''Oviedo'', ''Palencia'', ''Jaén'', ''Teruel'', ''Ávila'', ''Salamanca'', and ''La Coruña''. The Community of Madrid (; es, Comunidad de Madrid ) is one of the seventeen autonomous communities of Spain. Calle De Bravo Murillo
The calle de Bravo Murillo is a major street in Madrid, Spain. The streets starts in the glorieta de Quevedo, in the Chamberí District. Going North across the Tetuán District, it features a slightly bended path joining with the Paseo de la Castellana at the Plaza de Castilla. The street urbanised as slums were built along what it formerly was the Carretera de Francia ("Road of France"). In the context of the early 20th-century, the impoverished area became the epicentre of the "rebel and combative" Madrid despite its peripheral status and, during the 1917 general strike, seditious pamphlets were handed over in the street. In the 2010s, a huge number of betting shops controversially proliferated in the street, leading up to protests against gambling. Paseo de la Castellana, commonly known as La Castellana, is a major thoroughfare in Madrid, Spain. Cutting across the city from South to North, it has been described as the "true structuring axis" of the city. The plaza de Pablo Ruiz Picasso (also known as Plaza Central de AZCA) is a public square located in Madrid, Spain. It lies at the centre of the AZCA financial district. History and description Originally known simply as "plaza de Azca", the square was renamed to "Plaza de Pablo Ruiz Picasso" in April 1980. Located at the , it consists of a bronze statue of the Argentine president and general Juan Domingo Perón designed by Agustín de la Herrán put on top of a granite pedestal. History and description According to the Argentine ambassador in Spain, the project was reportedly the first monument dedicated to Perón to be erected outside Argentina's borders. The monument was a token of gratitude for the support provided by Perón to the Francoist regime during the immediate period after World War II, amid the international isolation of the dictatorship.
