Cristian Bud
Cristian Ionuț Bud (; born 26 June 1985) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a striker for CS Făurei. Career Early years In 2004, Bud began his career with his hometown club Liberty Salonta after being bought from Sporting Baia Mare's Academy. In the same year, he started playing with the senior side scoring vital goals in 52 appearances and scoring 25 goals. In his last season with the club, they managed to promote to Liga 1 after years in the second division. Gaz Metan Mediaș Following the success at Liberty, in 2009–2010 season, Bud signed a two years contract with Gaz Metan Mediaș for a fee of 500,000 Euro, becoming their most expensive ever player. Bud was a regular starter in his stint at the club scoring 11 goals in Liga 1 helping the club stay in the first division. Baia Mare
Baia Mare ( , ; hu, Nagybánya; german: Frauenbach or Groß-Neustadt; la, Rivulus Dominarum) is a municipality along the Săsar River, in northwestern Romania; it is the capital of Maramureș County. The city lies in the region of Maramureș, a subregion of Transylvania. It is situated about from Bucharest, from the border with Hungary, and from the border with Ukraine. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. Vasile Miriuță
Vasile Laszlo Miriuță (born 19 September 1968) is a football manager and former player. From December 2020, he was the head coach of Liga III side Minaur Baia Mare, until July 2021. From July 2021 he was enrolled as the technical director of the same team, Minaur. Born in Romania, the midfielder played nine matches for the Hungary national team, in which he scored one goal in a friendly on 21 August 2002 against Spain. Famous for his free kicks and tactical cleverness, he promoted in the Bundesliga with Energie Cottbus in 2000, but was released at the end of 2002. Clubul Sportiv Concordia Chiajna, commonly known as Concordia Chiajna, is a Romanian professional football club based in Chiajna, Ilfov County, which competes in the Liga II. The 2015–16 UEFA Champions League was the 61st season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 24th season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs' Cup to the UEFA Champions League. Pandurii Targu Jiu
The uprising of 1821 was a social and political rebellion in Wallachia, which was at the time a tributary state of the Ottoman Empire. It originated as a movement against the Phanariote administration, with backing from the more conservative boyars, but mutated into an attempted removal of the boyar class. Though not directed against Ottoman rule, the revolt espoused an early version of Romanian nationalism, and is described by historians as the first major event of a national awakening. The revolutionary force was centered on a group of Pandur irregulars, whose leader was Tudor Vladimirescu. Its nucleus was the Wallachian subregion of Oltenia, where Vladimirescu established his "Assembly of the People" in February.
