Creature (musician)
Siddiq Booker aka Creature (born November 10, 1973) is a New York City-based independent underground rapper, vocalist, writer and composer who works in the rap, hip hop, and afro-punk genres. Early life Booker was born in Harlem, New York, and was raised in the Corona neighborhood of Queens in New York City. Creature was inspired growing up listening to Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" and fellow Queens residents, Run DMC's, "Sucker MCs" on a boombox at the pool in Corona. He started playing in bands at 15. In high school he met Buc Live and then GED school met Gab Gatcha, both with whom he eventually formed the group, The Triflicts, in 1991. Robert Smith, better known by his stage name Rob Sonic, is an American rapper and record producer from the Bronx, New York. He has been a member of the groups Sonic Sum and Hail Mary Mallon. He is a founder of the record label Skypimps Music. Biography Rob Sonic is originally from Washington, D.C. As a child, he moved to New York. He started rapping at age 12. ''Vaudeville Villain'' is the third studio album by British-American rapper-producer MF DOOM, released on September 16, 2003 under the pseudonym of Viktor Vaughn. All of the tracks are produced by Sound-Ink record label members Heat Sensor, King Honey, and Max Bill, with the exception of "Saliva", produced by RJD2. Background In early 2003, while MF DOOM and Madlib were working on ''Madvillainy'', the unfinished demo of the album was stolen and leaked on the internet. ''The Rest Is History'' is Jin's debut album. It was released on October 19, 2004. Background Originally titled ''Almost Famous'', the album was delayed for over a year. Originally slated for a Summer 2003 release it was pushed back to an October 2003 date. After plans did not materialize due to disputes with Virgin Records, the album's release date was pushed back once more to March 23, 2004. However, the release date got pushed back twice more, to August 24, 2004, until it finally arrived, with a completely new title, on October 19, 2004. During the year-long delay, Jin released the two mixtapes called ''History in the Making'' and ''Definition of History''. After the album was released Jin released the last in the History mixtape series ''Lost History''. Jin Au-Yeung (; born June 4, 1982), known professionally as MC Jin, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor and comedian of Chinese descent. Jin is notable for being the first Asian American solo rapper to be signed to a major record label in the United States. Early life Jin Au-Yeung was born on June 4, 1982 in Miami, Florida to Hong Kong immigrants of Hakka descent. He was raised in the general Miami area, where his parents owned a Chinese restaurant and Jin attended John F. Kennedy Middle School in North Miami Beach. The X-Ecutioners
The X-Ecutioners are a group of American hip hop DJs/turntablists from New York City, New York. The group formed in 1989 and currently consists of three DJs, including Total Eclipse, DJ Boogie Blind, DJ Precision. Original members of the group included Mista Sinista, Rob Swift, and Roc Raida (who died in September 2009). Rob Swift and Total Eclipse formed a side project called ''Ill Insanity'' releasing one album together in 2008 entitled Ground Xero. History the X-Ecutioners formed as a DJ crew in 1989 that originally included 11 members.
