Craigclowan Preparatory School
Craigclowan School & Nursery is a private day preparatory school for boys and girls aged 3 to 13 in Perth, Scotland. History Craigclowan School and Nursery is located south of Perth. Craigclowan was established in 1952 by Richard W Noad. Noad was educated at Sedbergh School and the University of Oxford, graduating with an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE). He was formerly second master at Ardvreck in Crieff. The school opened on 16 September 1952 with 36 pupils. In May 1955 Noad bought Craigclowan with its extensive grounds from Isabella McArthur. Following the death of Noad in 1965, the parents and staff agreed to form a company, to take over and run the school. The company, with six governors and a chairman, bought Craigclowan from the Noads in 1965. Craigclowan School Limited continues to expand facilities and buy land to the present day. Phil Kay
Phil Kay (born 1969) is a Scottish stand-up comedian. Biography Education Kay was educated at Craigclowan Preparatory School in Perth, Scotland, and at nearby Glenalmond College. Early career Kay became known to the public when he won the newcomer's competition, 'So You Think You're Funny', at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1989. World Curling Championships
The World Curling Championships are the annual world championships for curling, organized by the World Curling Federation and contested by national championship teams. There are men's, women's and mixed doubles championships, as well as men's and women's versions of junior and senior championships. There is also a world championship for wheelchair curling. Jamie Cachia (born 7 September 1987) is a Scottish field hockey goalkeeper who plays for the Scotland men's national field hockey team. He plays his club hockey for Beeston Hockey Club in the Men's England Hockey League Premier Division. From 2011-2014 Cachia played for Sheffield Hockey Club.
