Country TV
Country TV is a New Zealand television channel broadcast on channel 081 on SKY Network Television. Country TV aims to provide information and entertainment specifically for New Zealand farmers and the rural community. The channel was launched on 1 October 2008 on SKY Digital TV channel 099 as ''The Country Channel''. On 1 November 2009 the channel changed its name to Country99TV to more closely align with its target demographic, as viewers and clients were simply calling the channel "Channel 99". On 1 May 2013, the Sky channel number was changed to 081 so the name became ''Country TV'' Country TV offers a variety of programming and its flagship shows are locally produced news, weather and current affairs shows. SDTV
Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems. New Zealand Farmers
In New Zealand, agriculture is the largest sector of the tradable economy. The country exported NZ$46.4 billion worth of agricultural products (raw and manufactured) in the 12 months to June 2019, 79.6% of the country's total exported goods. Sky Network Television Limited, more commonly known as Sky, is a New Zealand broadcasting company that provides pay television services via satellite, media streaming services and broadband internet services. It is also a wholesale channel provider to New Zealand IPTV provider Vodafone. Genevieve Westcott
Genevieve Patricia Westcott (195410 July 2020) was a Canadian-born New Zealand journalist and television presenter. Biography Westcott was born in 1954 in Stratford, Ontario, the fourth of nine children of Virginia (née McNamara) and political aide Clare Westcott. She began her career as a financial reporter for the ''Vancouver Sun'' newspaper, followed by a position as an editorial page writer at Vancouver's ''The Province'' newspaper. She then moved into television, working for Canwest Television Network, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and as the West Coast bureau chief and correspondent for CTV National News. Gerard Mark Leishman (born 25 May 1956) is a New Zealand radio and television broadcaster.
