Corrado Miraglia
Corrado Miraglia (1821 – 30 December 1881) was an Italian operatic tenor and in his later years a voice teacher and theatrical agent. He is best known today for having created the role of Ismaele in Verdi's opera ''Nabucco'', although he sang in the world premieres of several other lesser-known works. He was married to the opera singer Giuseppina Brambilla. Life and career Miraglia was born in Palermo. Little has been recorded of his life and career prior to his performance in the world premiere of ''Nabucco'' in March 1842, apart from his appearance earlier that year as Ivanhoe in Nicolai's ''Il templario'' at the Teatro Sociale in Mantua. He was only 21 when he sang this leading tenor role in Mantua, and a contemporary critic noted that his performance had been hampered by severe stage fright. Vincenzo Moscuzza (1827–1896) was an Italian composer. Born in Syracuse, Sicily, he was the son of composer Luigi Moscuzza, and his initial musical training was from his father. He later studied at the Naples Conservatory with Saverio Mercadante. Raimondo Boucheron
Raimondo Boucheron (March 15, 1800 – February 28, 1876) was an Italian composer, chiefly of sacred music. During his life, he was known primarily for the song "Inno per le cinque giornate". Today he is remembered as one of the contributors to the ''Messa per Rossini'', for which he wrote the ''Confutatis'' and ''Oro supplex'' of the ''Sequentia''. Giovanni Pacini
Giovanni Pacini (11 February 17966 December 1867) was an Italian composer, best known for his operas. Pacini was born in Catania, Sicily, the son of the buffo Luigi Pacini, who was to appear in the premieres of many of Giovanni's operas. The family was of Tuscan origin, living in Catania when the composer was born. His first 25 or so operas were written when Gioachino Rossini dominated the Italian operatic stage. ''Mosè in Egitto'' (; "''Moses in Egypt''") is a three-act opera written by Gioachino Rossini to an Italian libretto by Andrea Leone Tottola, which was based on a 1760 play by Francesco Ringhieri, ''L'Osiride''.
