FC Drobeta-Turnu Severin was a Romanian professional football club from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Mehedinți County, Romania, founded in 1958 and dissolved in 2011. History ''FC Drobeta-Turnu Severin'' was never able to reach the Liga I, playing all of its history in the Liga II and the Liga III. In ''1958'', Drobeta Turnu Severin was founded, after it took the place of CFR Turnu Severin in the Divizia C. In 1959 the club changes its name to Metalul Turnu Severin. In ''1976'', after ''Metalul'' relegated from the Divizia C to the Divizia D, at the end of the 1974–75 season, it merged with ''Meva'' and formed a new club named CSM Drobeta-Turnu Severin. is a football stadium located in Ōmiya-ku, Saitama city, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It is the home stadium of J2 League club Omiya Ardija. It was formerly known as Omiya Football Stadium. Football At The 1964 Summer Olympics
The football competition at the 1964 Summer Olympics started on 11 October and ended on 23 October. Only one event, the men's tournament, was contested. The tournament features 14 men's national teams from six continental confederations. The 14 teams are drawn into two groups of four and two groups of three and each group plays a round-robin tournament. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams advanced to the knockout stage, beginning with the quarter-finals and culminating with the gold medal match at the Olympic Stadium on 23 October 1964. There was also three consolation matches played by losing quarter-finalists. The winner of these matches placed fifth in the tournament. Qualification Regional qualifying tournaments were held.
