Corinthians Steamrollers
The Corinthians Steamrollers are an American football team competing in the South Conference of the Touchdown Tournament. Based in São Paulo, the team was founded in 2004. The Steamrollers are associated with Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. The Steamrollers play their home games at Estádio Parque São Jorge, or Fazendinha, which opened in 1928 and holds 13,969 people. The Steamrollers have won the Touchdown Tournament twice (2011 and 2012) and have appeared in all but one edition of the tournament. The Steamrollers were undefeated both times during the years in which they have won the Touchdown Tournament In addition to the two national titles, the Steamrollers are four times São Paulo State Champions (2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014) going undefeated in the 2012, 2013 and 2014 titles. Estádio Parque São Jorge
The Estádio Alfredo Schürig, most commonly known as Estádio Parque São Jorge, or Fazendinha, is a football stadium inaugurated on July 22, 1928 in São Paulo, Brazil. It can hold up to 13,969 people. The stadium is owned by Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. Its formal name honors Alfredo Schürig, president of Corinthians from 1931 to 1933. ''Fazendinha'' means ''Little Farm''. Torneio Touchdown
Touchdown Tournament was an American football league composed of teams from different Brazilian states. The league format was developed by the leaders Flavio "Skin" Cardia of the Fluminense Imperadores, and Mario Lewandowski of the São Paulo Storm, who chaired the Steering Committee of the League. The project was presented to the public during the Tournament Selections AFAB in April 2009, by signing a statement of commitment by the representatives of the 10 teams involved.
