Corey Lajoie
Corey Daniel LaJoie (born September 25, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports. LaJoie is the son of two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy LaJoie. He was formerly a development driver for Richard Petty Motorsports. Racing career LaJoie started his racing career in 1996, competing in kart racing events; winning 19 times on both dirt and asphalt tracks. He moved in 2003 to the INEX Bandolero series, scoring twelve wins and winning the series' Summer Shootout Championship. LaJoie began racing Legends cars in 2005, and in 2006 moved to the Aaron's Pro Challenge Series, where he won 10 of 12 races that year. Auto Club Speedway
Auto Club Speedway, originally opened as California Speedway, is a , low-banked, D-shaped oval superspeedway in unincorporated San Bernardino County, California, near Fontana. It has hosted NASCAR racing annually since 1997. It was also previously used for open wheel racing events. The racetrack is located east of Los Angeles and is near the former locations of Ontario Motor Speedway and Riverside International Raceway. The track is owned and operated by NASCAR. The speedway is served by the nearby Interstate 10 and Interstate 15 freeways as well as a Metrolink station located behind the backstretch. Construction of the track, on the site of the former Kaiser Steel Mill, began in 1995 and was completed in late 1996. The UNOH 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race that takes place in August at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. It was usually held on the Wednesday night prior to the NASCAR Cup Series Saturday night race, the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race; though in 2018, the race took place on Thursday night and was broadcast in primetime on Fox. The King Cadillac GMC Throwback 100 was a NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race that took place at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Thompson, Connecticut. 2009 NASCAR Camping World East Series
The 2009 NASCAR Camping World East Series was the 23rd season of the Camping World East Series, a touring series sanctioned by NASCAR. Matt Kobyluck entered the season as the defending drivers' champion. Ryan Truex won the championship, 34 points in front of Eddie MacDonald. This was the last season for the East Series with the Camping World title sponsorship. Because Camping World decided to be the title sponsor for the NASCAR Truck Series starting in 2009, they did not renew their title sponsorship of NASCAR's East and West Series after their contract for that ended at the end of the 2009 season. The 2012 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East was the 26th season of the K&N Pro Series East. It began with the Widow Wax 125 presented by SealWrap Repair Tape at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 17, and ended with the Classic 3 Championship at Rockingham Speedway on November 3. Max Gresham entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Kyle Larson won the championship after earning 2 victories during the season, along with 8 top fives and 12 top tens. Larson finished just 14 points ahead of his closest rival in the points standings, Corey LaJoie. LaJoie finished with 5 victories on the season, along with 10 top fives and 10 top tens. The General Tire 150 was a 150-mile (240 km) ARCA Menards Series race held at the Kentucky Speedway. The track hosted the series twice a year between 2000 and 2009 (except 2003), with this race being held in July as a supporting race to the NASCAR Truck Series. Kansas Speedway is a tri-oval race track in the Village West area near Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It was built in 2001 and it currently hosts two annual NASCAR race weekends. The IndyCar Series also held races at the venue until 2011. The speedway is owned and operated by NASCAR. Rockingham Speedway, formerly North Carolina Motor Speedway and later North Carolina Speedway is a racetrack located near Rockingham, North Carolina. The American 200 presented by Black's Tire and Auto Service was an ARCA Racing Series race that took place at Rockingham Speedway in 1973 and from 2008 until 2010. Charlie Glotzbach won the inaugural event, while Ty Dillon won the final event. History During the inaugural race, Charlie Glotzbach led 285 laps out of 295 to win ahead of Charlie Blanton, who was two laps down. Before the race, only 13 cars were able to qualify before rain moved into the area, causing the remainder of the grid lined up according to sign-in time at the track. In 2008, Joey Logano won after taking the pole position and leading 257 laps out of 312. In 2009 Sean Caisse won the spring event, and Parker Kligerman won in the fall.
